Present to charter the new club was Lion Dr. Wing-Kun Tam, International President. Dr. Tam is from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), The People's Republic of China. He was elected president of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association's 94th International Convention, held in Seattle, Washington, USA, July 4-8, 2011. Also attending and participating were Past International Presidents Lion Jim Ervin and Lion Joseph L. Wroblewski.
