	White Cane Day On a Saturday set aside (usually in early April) for raising money to aid those with impaired vision, Classic City Lions pair off to solicit funds in front of busy stores, much as the Salvation Army does at Christmas time. These positions are manned from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In return for donations, the Lions hand out small white canes for the donor to wear on their lapel. Funds collected on White Cane Day are donated to the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation. The average annual collection is in excess of $1,000.00.



	Pancake Breakfasts Two pancake breakfasts are scheduled each year, one in fall and one in spring, to raise funds for various projects. Pancakes and sausage are cooked and served by Classic City Lions at a local church which supplies the kitchen and dining room. Tickets are sold in advance by club members. 	Vidalia Onion Sales The club held its first annual Vidalia Onion Sale during March and April of 2012. Since that time sales have increased and the average profit each year is over $1,300.00.
