Greg
Paul was born in Athens, Ga. and attended Armstrong State College, and
Memorial Medical College in Savannah, Ga. He worked in Savannah for
several years as a Paramedic/Cardiac Technician. He then moved back to
Athens and was employed by the Athens-Clarke County Police
Department where he served 30 years in all Divisions of the
Department. He retired in August 2011 as a Lieutenant in the Information
Management Division. He has been a member of the Classic City Lions
Club since 1992. Over the years he has held several offices including
Secretary and President. Greg received the Melvin Jones Fellow award in
2000. Greg is married to Sharon Paul, also a member of the Club. He is
an active member of the Tuckston United Methodist Church where he has
served on the Pastor Parrish Relations Board, Administrative Board, and
President of the UMC Mens Club. |
