Tom lived his childhood in Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. When ten
years old Valdosta, Georgia became home. After earning degrees from
Young Harris College, Valdosta State University and Candler School
of Theology of Emory University, Tom served as a Pastor in the South
Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for
forty years.
He is affiliated with Princeton UMC and serves the Athens-Elberton
District of the North Georgia Conference as a retired supply pastor. He joined Classic City in February 2011 and has served
as 2nd and 1st Vice-President and is President for 2013-14, Program
Chair (2014-2016) and Member Chair (2016-2017). He
and his wife of 46 years have one married son and one married
daughter and two grandson.
