
Dr. Judy
Warrner grew up in Indiana and lived there for 62 years. She and her
husband, Jim, moved to Athens GA in 2016. She is a Registered Nurse and
received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nursing from Ball
State
University in Muncie, IN. She received her doctorate from Duke
University. She
spent most of her career in various Hospital Administration roles,
including
Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
She also
served in a consulting role, working with hospitals across the country
to help
establish safe, efficient, and enjoyable work environments, while
maintaining the
best in quality of care.
Dr. Warrner joined the Classic City Lions Club in 2018. She is currently
serving as
the club Treasurer. She is an active member of First Christian Church in
Athens,
serving as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Judy and her late husband
have
five children and thirteen grandchildren, living in Indiana, Florida,
and North
Carolina. |
